This is my dad.
He is a logger.
He is cutting down the first of many trees that we are cutting in our yard. We are cutting down like 8 trees. Two absolutely HUGE trees. Both are a risk for our house. One is literally 4 feet from my daughters window. Im surprised it hasnt ruined our foundation.
The second tree is lifting our water main...and ruining our driveway.
So ADIOS trees!!!!
The other 6 trees are trees that will be toppled when the two big ones go down. So either way, they are lose lose.
Dont you 'tree lovers' fret. We will still have atleast 15 large trees standing.
Today my dad is cutting the tree that is very close to our house. Im SO nervous! I dont want our house to be smashed!!!

My husband just called me and told me that the HUGE tree is down and went down without a hitch! (The tree next to my daughters window)

I'm glad your dad got it down without a hitch! Trees can be tricky. Your yard will look so different without them. We took down around 12 trees one year with a bull dozer from our front yard. It really opened up our yard and it does look better than it did.
